01 What is Connekt Library?

Connekt Library is a community-driven repository designed to make high-quality educational and general documents accessible to everyone in Africa. We use the CompRes™ engine to ensure that even a 50MB textbook can be viewed and downloaded with minimal data usage.

02 How does document optimization work?

When you upload a document, our CompRes™ pipeline decouples embedded images and strips unnecessary metadata. This results in a PDF that looks identical to the human eye but requires 80-95% less data to load.

03 Is it free to use?

Yes! Viewing and searching the library is open to everyone. We believe knowledge should be a public good. Downloading and uploading requires a free Connekt Social account to help us maintain community moderation.

04 I'm having trouble viewing a document.

Our viewer is designed for low-bandwidth environments. If a page doesn't load immediately, please wait a few seconds as it lazy-loads the perceptual stream. If the issue persists, try refreshing or contacting support.
